Feng (“Frank”) Tsian
Graphic Designer
Beijing Office |
Feng (“Frank”) Tsian joined GCW
Consulting in July 2005 as a Graphic Designer and is based in the
Beijing Office. Before joining GCW, Feng spent six years at Air
China—three years in the International Revenue Accounting
Department, and three years in the Marketing Communication and
Product Development Department. After leaving Air China, Feng
resumed his education, studying Art and Communications at Peking
University for three years. After graduation, Feng worked as a TV
Editor and Director in a TV production company, specially designated
as a Program Provider for CCTV-5, China’s biggest sport channel.
Feng earned his Bachelor degree from the Civil Aviation Institute of
China, and graduated from Peking University with a Master Degree in
Communication, with a concentration in advertising. Feng has always
searched for opportunities to be a Creative Director. He has
translated and edited several books when he was still a graduate,
including the once best-seller in ads circle –“How to succeed in
advertising when all you have is talent.”
Apart from advertising, Feng dabbles in many areas which allow him
to broaden his way of thinking and enrich his inner resources. His
favorites include music (both Classic and pop), movies, philosophy,
folk art, swimming, and of course his beloved Taichi. Feng is very
much addicted to Chinese traditional culture. While acknowledging
that the material world will be dominated by western technology,
Feng’s sense is that in the spiritual world, human beings will
return to their origins, and to Eastern Culture, and that Chinese
traditional culture will play an important role in this return.
Feng comes from Huairou district, a suburb northeast to Beijing,
where he enjoys spending peaceful weekends with his parents.
Feng can be contacted at GCW’s Beijing office, via email at
