Connie Chen is the Manager of the GCW Shenzhen Office and also is in charge of business development in southern China for GCW.

Connie is an experienced airport commercial manager with substantial knowledge of the international air cargo market. Before joining GCW, she took part in a series of airport strategic development projects including strategic planning of Chengdu Airport in the southwest of China and hub study and design at Beijing Capital International Airport.

Connie started her aviation career with the Shenzhen Airport Group Co. where she served for more than seven years as the Deputy Director of International Business. During her service at the airport, Connie developed successful commercial air cargo strategies and established a strong track record in airport air services marketing. She also was one of the key persons who organized and executed Shenzhen Airport's successful cargo development efforts to establish FedEx's mainland China gateway in Shenzhen.

Prior to joining Shenzhen Airport, she served as Project Manager at the Marketing Department of the Technology Institute of Textile & Garment of the former China Textile Ministry. There, Connie led research and new product development projects and obtained a fellowship from UNDP to participate in a one-year training program in marketing at the State University of New York.

Connie graduated from China Donghua University in Shanghai in 1986. She now is an MBA student of Guanghua Management School Beijing University.

Connie is married to Tang Kai who is an electrical engineer. They have one son and live in Shenzhen.
