Adam Zhong Analyst Beijing, China Office

Adam Zhong formally joined GCW Consulting in July 2009 and is based in GCW’s Beijing Office.

Adam obtained his Bachelor degree in Economic Mathematics from Renmin University of China in 2006 and his Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Renmin University of China in 2009.

At Renmin University of China, Adam has taken systematical study on Mathematics and Economics, which endowed him with rational insight and wide perspective. To hone his skill of applying mathematic and economic theories in the real business areas, he also did extensive in-field investigation and case-based scientific research. Due to all these diligent work and as one of top 3 of 29 students, Adam was awarded and recognized as a “Government-sponsor Postgraduate Student”.

During the postgraduate education in Renmin University of China, Adam focused his research on non-linear analysis of financial field and mathematic models. After three years of hard work, Adam finished his graduate essay of cellular automata research, and was awarded the best researcher of Renmin University.

Adam’s passion for the civil aviation industry originated during his internship in GCW back in 2006. As Intern, he was responsible for data analysis of airlines’ network structure and development, traffic analysis and forecast of hub strategy for airlines and airports. This experience has made him very familiar with the concept of aviation hub and the process of network planning of hub carriers and at the same time, learned to trust his precise aptitude and develop his communications and problem-resolving skills.

Adam believes that solid academic excellence, communication skills and in-depth experience constitute the key to be a successful consultant. The spirit of striving for the best prompted him to dedicate his problem resolving, communicating and data analyzing skills, into the consulting field of the civil aviation industry.

During his spare time, Adam likes to read, travel, play sports and listen to music. He likes to spend his vacation playing badminton or going to the gym with his friends. He believes a healthy body is most important for everyone.
